Unable to connect Desktop Agent SAP IRPA

Since today morning I am unable to test my project. Yesterday It was working perfectly. But since today morning unable to connect to the desktop agent. The desktop agent is time to time disconnected. When I run the project on Cloud studio, it shows the following pop up(configuring the Desktop Agent).

Usually agent is also able to work with the package when the package version is greater than the agent. To work seamlessly agent and package share the same version.

Also check your Internet connection.

Hi

I think the issue is on the BADI SDK dependency. I have removed the Badi dependency and updated other dependencies(Core and Outlook) to the latest version. Now the project is running.

Poorna,

I can see from the screenshot, that you are using the Desktop Agent 2.0.20, but you have updated SDK dependencies. I am not convinced that it should work. Either update your Desktop Agent, or revert dependencies back to previous x.20 version. See my comment above to Balakrishnan.

I have reverted all three dependencies. Now it seems it's working. But my problem is that this is working until yesterday morning same dependencies and the desktop agent. It suddenly stopped working yesterday morning.

Hello,

Try below options.

1. Remove the existing Tenant in your desktop agent and try creating new tenant and activate that tenant

2. Update your Desktop Agent to latest version if current version is old.

3. In SAP iRPA extension under details, make sure that " Allow access to file URLs" is checked.

I'm sure, point 1 is not feasible for everyone. Points 2 and 3 checked, but not applicable.

Any other idea? Is there anybody from the iRPA core development/support team? I am using iRPA from Sep-2021, but I still do not understand, how to predict a reliability of the next version.

Poorna, I have downgraded the Agent back to version 2.0.20. It works.
