Unable to change anything in custom table

Hi,

I am facing one issue with custom table. In custom table when i try to change anything like increase length of the field or deleting existing field etc then when i activated it is giving below error. Please find the screenshot and let me know your suggestions. Thank you.

Please show the screenshot of SE11 of that table. Also mark the field which you want to change

a) increasing the field length or b) deleting the field

Before that i have done change in delivery maintenance, earlier it was not allowed now i maintained delivery maintenance allowed with restrictions after that i changed it to delivery maintenance allowed also but no luck. Please find table screenshot.

Questions:

1. Is this kind of change previously allowed and it is not working for this table only?

2. Did you try the date data element using the standard date data element

3. What is the Primary key for this table

4. What is the database? Hana or anyother database?

Based on your answer, If it is not allowing for any of the custom table, then you may have to raise the incident to SAP. There are some notes to be implemented I believe.

I guess SLT creates automatically DB triggers.

You must delete the DB triggers before adjusting a table, and re-create them after.

I guess SLT provides an easy procedure, you should target your question with primary tag SAP Landscape Transformation.

But there are already some answers, and also SAP notes.

Did yoi already read KBA 2284776 - Table change not possible. There is a DB trigger on the table (it contains some references/links to SLT)

You have to stop the replication in SLT which will drop the triggers or if triggers are set manually then you have to delete them.

Once triggers are deleted, then you can change the table and activate the table.
