We use third party software to create apps for Android and iOS using the (SA 12) Ultralite db and (SA 16) Mobilink. The vendor THINKS SAP is going to drop Ultralite, hence, they don't want to spend the time updating their software to create 64-bit apps for Ultralite.
Is SAP going to drop, or continue Ultralite?
Request clarification before answering.
There are no current plans to drop UltraLite. At a minimum, your vendor can be assured that SQL Anywhere 17 is supported through August 2022, and UltraLite is included in SQL Anywhere 17 (see the Supported Platforms document here or the SAP Product Availability Matrix here. Not sure if you need an SAP customer number for the latter).
