Two SAP application components in RSA5 & RSA6?

Hi All,

Do anyone know why there are TWO SAP-R/3 (SAP application components) in the RSA5 & RSA6(tcode)? Under SAP node, there are two SAP-R/3 and they are all the same. I am wondering if there is a reason for that.

I research here but was not able to find an answer for it. Can someone share with me?

Check out OSS note 0000580282 that addresses is item. You can use RSA9 to copy the application component hierarchy from content to active version.

Do you mean that the second SAP-R/3 only contains the hierarchy without the master data and tranaction data?

Solution

Import PI 2002.2 Support Package 2.

Then copy the application component hierarchy with transaction RSA9 from the content to the active version.

The problem is due to an incorrectly delivered application component hierarchy APCO.

Solution

Create the attached program ZDELRODSAPL in the R/3 source system and execute the program.

Afterwards copy the application component hierarchy with Transaction RSA9 from the content to the active version
