Transportation in EP

Hi SAP guys,

Give detailed steps for Transportation in EP at Sap level and o.s level plz very urgent ?

Here are the links to the information about the enhanced CTS (CTS+) that allows you to transport both ABAP and non-ABAP (portal archives, XI transports, etc.) from within the standard ABAP-based CTS. Looks quite interesting.

First, a document outlining the functions of CTS+ with some info on when and how it should be used:

Hi,

Can you please specify what do you want to transport in EP. If its the pcd objects like iviews, roles etc. you can use the Transport feature of EP. You can find it under System Administration-> Transport. If its webdynpro objects, then you can use CMS. It would be really helpful if you can specify what do you want to transport in Portal.

You have to configure CMS ( Change Management Service ) to import / transport in J2EE / EP scenario.

You have to prepared CMS for development operation.
