Translation (BW) via se63 not visible in BEx

Hello Experts,

we are starting to use the translation environment to translate infoobjects visible in enduser applications such as queries, workbooks etc. When translating with se63 and performing rso_after_translation, the translation is visible in the workbench but not (yet) in the enduser applications and in BEx query designer. The same system behavior is shown after the transport of the translation into the productive system. Is there maybe a programm we need to run to update meta data?

Hi,

did you check:

• translation of which type text (short/med/long) you have maintained in the system, which type of text is used in the query designer
• is the default text used in query designer or is it type over by another text

Thanks for this hint, but the translated text type is used in the query. It seems to be some metadata problem because after (re)activating a cube where the translated infoobject is used, the translation is visible in BEx (queries workbooks and designer).
