Hello,
We are doing the refresh of our BW system. we rename the ECC source system and the BW Prod system using the BDLS.
In the BW target system we import the old configuration of RFC , WE 20 and WE21.
After the BDLS in the RSA1 we did not find the ECC source system in the system sources tab so i created it manually and in the RSBASIDOC we have the right mappping.
We find that all the transformation based on every PSA is deactivated.
Further on the export DataSource are deactivated too (objets 8Z…)
and now we can not activate the DSO.
Is there a way to reactivate the transformation. we tried the program RSDG_TRFN_ACTIVATE but it did not help us to resolve the issue.
Thanks for your help.
Hassan
Hello,
The prblem comes from the table RSBASIDOC where on the production system there is an entry where the Sending system and the reaciving system is the production system. The BDLS on the PreProduction System did not manage to convert the Logical system properly.
So we modify the table RSBASIDOC manually from the database level and then we modified manually the entries in tha transaction WE20 and after that we launch the Programs : RSDG_TRFN_ACTIVATE and RSBKDTPREPAIR
Best Regards

Hi There,
It won't work, although the source system ID is changed in RSBASIDOC, the source system dependent objects will not have been converted, I would suggest restarting the refresh using the correct procedure from note 886102. This is the only way to be confident of data consistency.
If you proceed with not doing this, then perhaps you could collect & tranport the source system dependent objects in a transport from another BW system and transport them to BW.
Personally speaking however, I would restart the refresh. There are too many unforseen variables to consider with your approach. I hope this helps.
Thanks,
Colm
