Transactions SWDD / SWEL / SWIA Graphical Workflow designer / protocoll disabled

Hello Workflow experts

during recent implementing of workflow accidentally I deactivatesd the grapical
workflow designer in Transaction SWDD (Workflow Designer).
So no longer the picture of my workflow from start event over workflow steps
to workflow end is displayed. Instead the steps are displayed in a tree list
which doesn't help me.

And when analysing a workflow in trasnsactions SWEL or SWIA the graphical
workflow protocol is no longer displayes.
The steps are displysed in a tree list too.

How to reactivate the grapical workflow designern and wgrapicla workflow protocol
for my user again in that system.

If I log on using the same user in an Citrix terminal server the behavior
is the same.

If I log on - again - in the Citrix terminal server on a the system of an other
customer with an other SAP user the behavior is again the same.
That brings me to the idea that not I disabled something. Could it be that
the colleagues of our Basis deactivated something that is necessary for the
graphial workflow componentes mentioned.

So far as I remeber the graphical workflow tools are of any kind of external
tool like a EXE Program, a DLL file or a JAVA applikation.
Similar to graphical screen painter in SE51 which is a applikation written in
JAVA.
And perhaps any communication over internet ports is necessary to have that
tool working.

Who could tell me here to solve the issue. Please help me.

Best regards

Stephan Weber

Hi Stephan - when you are in SWDD can you go to Extras > Options on the menu

See if you can change the drop down to Graphical or select option to reset to standard setting

See my screen shot below

Hello Tammy,

it seems you lead me to the relevant settings.

In the shown popup the Modelling View is T Tree instead G Grapical (Network) like in your screenshot.

And after pressing the button [Reset to standard setting] I receive this message:

ACCESSIBILLTY mode: you can not switch to graphic

After i switched that off in teh settings of SAP gui (SAPlogon, Options..., Visual Design, ACCESSIBILITY and Sktipting, First checkbox on top)
I was able to reset the Settings. especially the Value of Modelling View from T to G!!!

Thanks a lot for that fast help!!!
Best regards

Thanks Stephan, I was also facing the error ACCESSIBILLTY mode: you can not switch to graphic Message no WD010.

The steps you mentioned really helped.

SAP logon -> options ->Accessibility and scripting ->Accessibility-> uncheck 'Use accessibility mode'->Click on apply & ok-> Login again and try.

Thanks again.
