Hi,
I am using 30c system. While i am tring to import transport request manually using tp command i am getting an error.
Highest tp internal error was 0212
tp finished with return code 212
please tell me where can i get 30c version kernel.
Regards,
Suraj
30C kernels are LONG LONG deprecated (must be around 7 -8 years). You should upgrade your kernel to a downward compatible 3.1I kernel.
Neverless, you need an extended maintenance contract to get those kernel patches.
I know Error 212 as "neither data- nor cofile exists" so make sure your TMS is correctly set up and that the transport you're trying to import is in the right place.

And maybe another suggestions:
Releases below 4.5A (again, don't nail me on that) don't know of a transport profile as it is known today, they have a tpparam instead.
So
cd /usr/sap/trans/bin
tp addtobuffer <transport> <SID>
tp import <transport> <SID>
where in /usr/sap/trans/bin there must exists a TPPARAM (in capitals if you're on Unix).

just for your information, STMS was introduced in 3.1g after having some support packs.
from 3.1i (and 4.0b), it was included.
wow, I can`t believe that he is still running on 3.0c !
Suraj kumar, you should provide the full error message you get, not just the 2 lines of error.
please also provide contents of TPPARAM
Hi
I dont think you can get the support packs for SAP 3 in SMP anymore. You have to contact SAP
Thanks
