Hi Everybody,
we use for the reorganisation of the transport directories the tp commands CHECK ALL and CLEAROLD ALL
Now we want also to use also the command cleanbuffer SID.
But we don't want that every sucessfull importet request will be deleted immediately from the buffer.
Is it possible to set a option like after 10 Days delete it from the buffer.
Thanks for your help.
regards,
Marcus
Hello Marcus,
there's no such option to delay the deletion of the request from the buffer, tp does not have such thing, check its options:
[7]tp cleanbuffer
This is tp version 376.01.14 (release 701, unicode enabled)
Usage of command CLEANBUFFER:
tp CLEANBUFFER <SAPSID> [options ...]
Removes completed transport requests from the buffer of system <SAPSID>.
Options:
pf=<TPPARAM> specify a transport parameter file
silent redirect stdout to dev_tp in current directory
-D"<entry>" specify a parameter for tp
-t<k> specify a trace level for tp
tf=<filename> specify the name of a trace file for tp
shdwtadir=<tabname> specify the name of a shadow TADIR
Description of arguments:
<TPPARAM> (complete) path of a transport parameter file
<entry> a parameter description as in a tp parameter file
<SAPSID> R/3 system's name, (target or source whatever is appropriate)
I hope this information helps.
Best regards,
Tomas Black
