To throw a popup message in WD portal using OO ABAP

Hi Experts,

I am enhancing the SNC - Return ASN portal and the requirement is to throw a popup warning message when one of the criteria gets failed.

Please note, this standard WD application has been used or called multiple standard classes and I need to implement my logic in one of the associated class->method program (will do an implicit enhancement) and not on the WD view->methods.

I tried using the below standard class but failed (catch exception).

CL_LXE_MSG_POPUP SAP OO Class - Message popup

Please help.
