We have set EST as our time in the system & its the default time zone for users. But when checking there is 1 hour difference in the time . What could be the cause.
We have tried changing the timezone using STZAC & still the same.

Hi Magesh,
I believe changing time zone would require a system bounce to become effective.
In addition ensure your OS has accurate time setting because SAP Picks up it's time from OS level. Then execute transaction STZAC to adjust sap system time zone. You can use STZBC to ensure you time zones & rules are correct.
See note 198411 for current information on time zones.

To add to what Sourabh is saying. Since SAP is checking the time at the OS level, your problem is likely there, and not in the SAP system at all. The US changed the beginning of daylight savings time to earlier in March a few years ago. Perhaps your OS requires a patch to know this? I am assuming this problem just started to appear a couple of weeks ago when DST started in the US? If so, it will go away soon (according to the old DST calendar). If this is the case, I would contact the OS vendor regarding any patches for DST.
Best Regards,
Matt
