Hello,
Thankyou for your reply
Yes, I have gone through this article....one of them is useful if I want to comapre same month of different year....but not not for month on month of same year...
as if we set Current Month -CM amd Previous Month. -PM..it will only comapre two months i.e. CM and PM
but I want to compare month on mont for every month in same year...like Jan Feb, March April etc....
e.g. we have sales of 10 unit in Jan, 20 unit in Feb, 5 unit in March in 2025....etc etc..I want to know how much increase or decresce happening month on month..thats seemes to eb possible only with time variance function in SAC but its not workingt in my case..and would like to know how to resolve that issue ?
Hi @Meenal12 ,
You can do this for month on month as well here are the solution
1. you need to be create previous month calculated measure
2. Create month on month calculation
3. Here are the final output
Kindly upvote/accept if you find it useful.
Thanks
Hi,
I tried to appply thE solution given by you, but when I select previous time interval it gives me previous month data. For exmple, it given me Jan 2025 month i.e. only for one month back and not the option like you have previous month/period. how did you manage to see that option ?
Thanks for reply and support on this topic
Hi @Meenal12,
For Previous month calculation you need to be select "previous" month period
as shown below
Kindly like and accept.
Thanks.
Hello,
I am not able to view the option like you have on SAC restricted measure i.e. Navigation, previous period OR month shift previous value for the entire year(highlighted in yellow in your screenshot). May I ask which Version of SAC are you using?
for me below options are avilable and if I select previous month it will only show me previous month data i.e. Feb 2025 only on month.
