Hello Colleagues,

I recently installed an additional instance to the system (SAP S/4HANA FOUNDATION 2023).

However, when I am doing a switch to AI01 from SM51 (after logging into CI), I am getting below error:

Communication error with server vaai01cvp_CVP_00:
Error when opening an RFC connection (CPIC-CALL:

ThSAPOCMINIT', communication rc:
CM_RESOURCE_FAILURE_RETRY (cmRc=27).

Similarly, I am getting below error while directly logging to AI01 from SAPGUI,

CVP: SAP system message

rabax during sapgui logon (location vaai01cvp_CVP_00-W46)

I am not sure if this is memory issue and firewall issue.

Using the NIPIng tool check the network connectivity from the App to the DB instance, refer to the SAP note 2986631

1. Check the application instance to DB connectivity for any network latency issues

2. Refer to the SAP Note 2947990

Thanks for your response.

Note refers 2947990 to "rc: CM_PRODUCT_SPECIFIC_ERROR (cmRc=20)"

but I am encountering rc: CM_RESOURCE_FAILURE_RETRY (cmRc=27) 😞
