Hello Experts,
I'm facing an issue in my CMC. Under Data Services, the repository is showing as Inactive. When I try to Test connection, I'm getting the titled message.
I tried the following solutions.
Stop Tomcat and SIA services
Re-Sync the repository and restart the Data Services.
Start Tomcat and SIA services
Stop Tomcat and SIA services
Delete the localhost files under tomcat\work\catalina\localhost
Re-Sync the repository and restart the Data Services.
Start Tomcat, DS and SIA services
But no luck. I'm getting the error messages in DS Admin Console and in CMC as in the the attached screenshot.
Note:
The Repository is properly configured in CMC.
Appropriate JDBC drives is in place under lib folder.
I'm awaiting for your guidance.
Thank you
Alex
Request clarification before answering.
which ojdbc.jar are you using and which version of Data Services? I'm on 4.2 and use ojdbc6.jar, which exists in (at least) the following locations, first of which was specified during DS installation:
[oracle client base dir]\product\12.1.0\client_1\jdbc\lib\ojdbc6.jar
[SAP base dir]\SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 4.0\java\lib\im\oracle\ojdbc6.jar
[SAP base dir]\Data Services\ext\lib\ojdbc6.jar

Can you try connecting to repo using SQL plus or Any DB Client tools on the DS server and BO server? If it does not connect, then there is problem with your settings.

Hello Jawahar,
I have tried to delete and re-configure the repository. But it fails to create the entry and throws the below error.
| com.acta.util.ActaException: [JDBC database driver for 'Oracle' is not loaded. Possible ways to fix this problem: 1) For Data Services Management Console or Central Management Console, copy the associated JDBC driver to <BOE_INSTALL_DIR>/java/lib/im/<database> on the machine where BOE and Data Services AdminService are installed. Then re-start the EIMAdaptiveProcessing Server instance on that machine. 2) For Data Services upgrade manager tool, copy JDBC driver to %LINK_DIR%/ext/lib directory. 3) For Oracle database, see Procduct Availability Matrix (PAM) for supported JDBC driver. Please advise me on this.
Thank you
