1> System copy of the sap portal need to be created in new domain.

First you have import the ssl certificate for domain name provide by it team.

Sso parameter need to changed

SSO, System object creation need to be created.

2> KM backup, favorites need to point to the new domain.

3> iViews should be pointed in the new domain.

4> Theme migration in new domain.

5> Desktop rule assignment in new domain
6> Login module customization for the new domain.

Then, unit testing the dev portal, UME migration; ads service.

Kindly correct if some more steps are there or I am wrong.

Before that refer to the SAP portal NW 7.3 system copy guide, to find the pre and post-system copy activities, followed by as you mentioned the steps.

1. Refer to the SAP Note 1233320 for Domain migration for SAP systems.

2. SAP Portal NW 7.3 already end of maintenance from SAP, refer to the SAP note 2980160.

3. Before getting into the production portal, try to do the domain migration in the test environment and collect all the required media and relevant documents.
