Textvariables from BW4 in unified story are not displayed correctly in unified story

Hi there,

when using the unified story we have a problem with textvariables in the key figure description: They are only displayed correctly when we choose "show as ID" - which is only a solution when the key figures don't have a technical ID. Interestingly it is working in view mode for those variable values which are entered when editing the story. But when I then open the variable prompt again and enter different values, it is not workin. Is this a current bug / limitation of the unified story / optimized design mode?

After implementing below solution, Issue got resolved. This might help you as well.

Solution

To solve the issue please apply the Support Package as mentioned below. In urgent cases you can use the correction instructions.

Delivery Information

• SAP BW/4HANA 2021
  Implement Support Package 06 for SAP BW/4HANA 2021 (SAPK-30006INDW4CORE) into your SAP BW/4HANA system. The Support Package will be available as soon as SAP Note 3303491 with the short text "SAPBWNews SAP BW/4HANA 2021 SP06", which describes this Support Package in more detail, is released for customers.
  

In urgent cases you can use the correction instructions.

Before you use the correction instructions, make sure that you check SAP Note 1668882 and SAP Note 2248091 for transaction SNOTE.

This SAP Note might already be available before the Support Package is released. In this case, however, the short text still contains the term "preliminary version".
