Dear SAP Community,

I would like to check SAP's Tr-Cd: SNOTE screen transitions and actual equipment.

So we are looking for a test notebook that will not make any updates or changes to the system.

--existing state--

I was able to download note No. "2424539" in the development machine environment.

However, the "Implementation Status" is "Cannot be implemented" and I cannot transfer it.

I think the reason for this is that No. "2424539" has already been applied to the verifier.

If No.2424539 has already been applied in the verifier, is there any problem in the system to delete the existing No.2424539 in the verifier and apply it again?

AFAIK there are no such notes, either a note can be implemented and it will apply the changes, or it is not. It's not relevant to your release, it's missing prerequisites or it's an informational note that doesn't make any changes.

You should train on a sandbox system, outside the transport landscape of your systems.

Use also search tool, there are even video links on the forum.

As it's a serious matter, look for training such as ADM100 - System Administration I of SAP S/4HANA and SAP Business Suite (search at training.sap.com)

In the forum, you can find other people asking the same question (i.e. cannot be implemented means that this note is already implemented in your system).

SNOTE is the Note Assistant transactions. It is used to download and apply SAP's correction notes. Notes implementation is a serious business as SAP standard code is changed here. So you really should know what you are doing. On the up side the process is quite robust and forgiving, so errors are usually quite easy to rectify.

As far as I know there is no such a thing a test note, to play innocuously with SNOTE.

You load the notes with SNOTE as described here - Loading an SAP Note

The note 2424539 is a test note to verify digital signatures only. It is not a note with test changes to ABAP code.

Notes are not applied as test changes. They actually change SAP standard ABAP code among other objects. Of course as any other changes, they are first applied in a development system, then are transported to a test system and verified there, only after that they are moved to production system.

If a note is suitable for your system, it can be applied after downloading it, by going to the note browser, or using other options on the screen.

If it is not suitable, the implementation status will be "Cannot be implemented".
