We use Sybase SQL Anywhere database in Windows environment and have weekly database backup creation. The size of the database has not changed significantly but in last 2 weeks the job has taken more than 25+ hours to compete the backup. The size of backup file is 200 GB. The backup used to take 16 hours to complete earlier. We use dbbackup.exe command for database backup.
Please suggest any reason for the sharp spike in database backup file creation time.
