Hello,
I have Crystal Report 2016 installed and noticed that the sqlanywhere transaction logs are consuming disk space. On the Crystal Report 2016 server, I'd checked <BI Install Directory>\sqlanywhere\BIN64\ to see if the Sybase Central was installed and I did not see scjview.exe. As a result, I've installed Sybase Central from this link: https://wiki.scn.sap.com/wiki/display/SQLANY/SAP+SQL+Anywhere+Database+Client+Download.
In the Sybase Central application, I add in the database credentials and connect with an ODBC Data source like the screenshot below. However, when I click the Connect button, the application closes and an "hs_err_.log" file is downloaded on the machine. What is causing the application to crash? I've noticed in my Environment Variables that I do not have a Java variable. I'm unsure if Sybase Central is a java application or if this is unrelated to my issue, but I wanted to point that a Java environment variable is missing.
