Is it possible to run a shadow instance on a remote application server? The parameters for the shadow instance only allow to enter a system number, not the server names!
The SAP documentation says to start the SUM (Software Update Manager) on the PAS (primary application server). It's on the PAS that the SHADOW instance will run.
Thank you for your answer! In previous SUM versions it was possible to enter a server for the shadow instance. Then there will probably no longer be that!
