We're in the process of planning our current SAP system upgrade to S/4HANA 2022 or 2023 (not final yet); we will be using H4S4 too and currently, we're on SAP ECC ERP 6, Patch level 6. Need clarification with respect to de-clustering of HCM data.
Have reviewed few SAP notes and upgrade guide especially with respect to impact on HCM Cluster Tables. Looks like DMO will handle the de clustering of data as part of upgrade (Table PCL2/ PCL4 etc.). Is our understanding correct? SUM guide along with note no: 1784377 and 1892354 is concluding towards this.
There is one SAP note (no: 2537430) that explains de-clustering impact on Suite on HANA but could not locate anything on H4S4. Can you please confirm if DMO will manage de-clustering of HCM Tables on its own and it is compulsory as part of H4S4 (tables like PCL2, PCL4)?
