Hello community, hope you're well.
Since last Sunday we're experiencing a strange issue with a production system when calling a HANA DB procedure from CAP, it returns an error:
Undefined function: function Decimal __typecast__(Decimal, int32_t, int32_t) does not exist.”
Does anyone have any pointers on what this could be please? This is a complex DB procedure which does do conversions of string to numbers but it was working fine until SAP updated the HANA DB in BTP* last Saturday, (to version 4.00.000.00.1662464871)
We have an open support ticket but in the meantime I'm hoping to get more info on what exactly in the procedure is causing HANA runtime to call this __typecast__ function and if we can do any change to work around it. What are these functions?
Thank you very much for any help.
* This is HANA in BTP.
