Subject: How to Prevent Tables from Loading into Memory in SAP HANA

Hi SAP Community,

I am looking for ways to improve memory performance in SAP HANA by preventing certain tables from being loaded into memory. I have already set the UNLOAD PRIORITY to 0 for these tables, which helps, but I have noticed that HANA occasionally still loads these tables into memory.

Here are my specific questions:

1. Are there any other methods or configurations in SAP HANA to ensure that certain tables are not loaded into memory under any circumstances?
2. Is there a way to monitor and control table load behavior more effectively?
3. Can specific users or processes be restricted from loading certain tables into memory?

All databases need to load data into memory in order to process queries. Since HANA is an in-memory database the expectation is that all tables are in memory all the time. Can you provide some more context as to why you would have a table in the HANA database that you would never want to be loaded into memory and therefore would never be queried?
