In the past sybase had a page where an overview of all SQL Anywhere versions were given with the corresponding end of life dates and possible end of life dates for the running versions.
Does such a similar page exist in SAP SQl Anywhere somewhere?
Regards,
Frank
Here you are:
SAP SQL Anywhere Supported Platforms and Engineering Support Status
FWIW: This page and related topics are also accessable via these DocCommentXchange overviews:
AFAIK, for v12.0.1 and older versions the links within DCX still refer to vanished Sybase pages but the according platform status information does refer to all versions.

SAP SQL Anywhere 17 is similar to Microsoft Windows 10, in that the software is being updated without changing the major version number in the name; e.g., 17.0.4, 17.0.9, 17.0.10
It's still the best database, and it is not dying, it's not even sick 🙂
Here's a direct quote from Mike Paola in late November: "...there is no truth to statements of SQL Anywhere being discontinued. SQL Anywhere continues to be sold in various channels (OEM, direct, as well as online in the SAP Store www.sapstore.com )."
Given the nature of SAP's primary business focus, SQL Anywhere will probably remain more stealthy than ever before. Developers who want to be exactly like their competitors will use other products, while folks who want a competitive edge will use SQL Anywhere.
Meanwhile, SAP itself uses SQL Anywhere which is one of the biggest reasons it's not gonna die any time soon.
Yes, I fully agree on your point of view w.r.t. SQL Anywhere's future.
Nevertheless, I would be really happy if SAP would not let its customers answer such kind of questions, some official statements now and then would be helpful...
A somewhat related question:
Using 16.0.0.2043 ( EOL 12/31/2018 ), I see dbinit now says "the Evaluation Period has Expired", so I can't create a new db
Same with Sybase Central
Is this possible ? it was a "Trial" Version, in 2014, but we since have purchased licenses
Any help appreicated !

I'd re-post this as a new question. However - when you got your licences you will have been given a key. Use this with dblic.exe to license your engine - dbeng16 or dbsrv16. If you still have problems ask a new question on the forum explaining the error messages or whatever you get.
Good luck
