Hi Team,

We are having issues when we configured the PGP key step in the iflow.

Its saying special characters are not allow in PGP key user id "<" and ">".

The same key partner gave it to different clients so not ready to create new/modify anything .

so looking for alternative to fix this in the iflow step.

Please find the iflow screenshot and PGP key . Please provide the resolution if you have faced earlier or guide me to fix it.

Hi,

There is no need to change the UID. Moreover, if a partner provides us with their PGP public key, you cannot change it.

A PGP UID (User ID) consists of three components: User Name (comment) <email>. Both the (comment) and <email> parts are optional.

In the Integration Suite, the managed key view displays all three components if they are defined. PGP_Keys.png

However, in the iFlow configuration, only the "User Name" part is required.

I have the same issue. In my case the SAP Concur public key contains these chars in the User ID:

But PGP encrypter says:

tlu2_1-1717650181498.png

Currently it looks like I can't use SAP tools with SAP tools. 😉

The PGP key name in the PGP Encrypter step will not allow special characters so we have two options here.

The PGP key name in the PGP Encrypter step will not allow special characters so we have two options here. 1. When creating the PGP keys dont give the special characters like < > 2. Just give the prefeix name before < in the step and It will work . In my case I did the same and it worked. The PGP key name in the PGP Encrypter step will not allow special characters so we have two options here.
