sort table by custom added column

Hi experts, 

in a table i have for columns a measure, GL accounts and cross calculation.

i added a column "gross margin $ " and i want to sort the table based on it's values.

how can i achive this? it's not availble in the sort options

the end goal is to have the table sorted by the "gross margin $" calculation

I think you can sort if you click the 'Value sorting' option from the context menu, have you tried it?

the only options are to sort by the amount in a specific column, and not by amount in that calculated column like the second image shows
