Hello Everyone, I am in the process of planning the upgrade of our SOLMAN 7.2 SPS 05 to SPS 09 to meet all the back-end support changes.
Quick Question/Advice
2 Years Ago we upgraded our SOLMAN 7.1 SPS 10 to SOLMAN 7.2 SPS 05. As we all know, we had to split the dual stack in NW 7.40 and so we did. We split off the JAVA and ABAP however they both reside in the same DB (MCOD).
We actually still use ABAP data supplier in JAVA for UME even after the spit.
My question to is, the sequence I upgrade the engines. IN SPS09, the JAVA version is now NW 7.5 and ABAP remains 7.4, I was thinking of doing the JAVA engine first with SUM then come back and do the ABAP. Anyone have any input? Suggestions? Maybe the order doesn't matter, but I am just seeking anyone's experience before I dive in.
Thanks Marco, that is the intel i was seeking. Good to know about the IU-FIVE component, I built a PO landscape not long ago and while patching noticed that, it all makes sense now. Thanks for that note.
