Solution Manager 7.2 - Editing templates for System Monitoring

Dear Experts,

when I try to Edit monitoring templates for System Monitoring in transaction solman_setup as user solman_admin, I am getting the following error:

Which role should I assign in order to be able to edit monitoring templates ? With SAP_ALL and SAP_NEW profiles it works, of course, but this is not a clean solution. Please advise! Thank you!

Dear Customer, 

One way to find the missing authorization object is by accessing t-code SU53 after reproducing the error. Afterwards, use t-code SUIM to locate the role that contains the authorization object. If additional assistance is needed, please provide the screenshot in SU53 and the solman 7.2 SP version.

many thanks for your reply, I really appreciate it.
Unfortunately the link you have posted is very unclear. If I understand it correctly, there are 2 example users, TA_ADM_xxx and TA_DIS_xxx with their roles. However the descriptions of the roles are just technical names and it's impossible to understand what each of these roles is doing.

Nevertheless, I guess this is a typical foggy SAP documentation and there is no better resource available.
So, as in many other occasions, I will see how to solve this on my own 😕 Thank you!
