Colleagues,
We have Solman 7.2 implemented and I access it using the Fiori dashboard. About a week and a half ago I started getting an error when trying to access Solman. I click on the "Solution Documentation" tile. The system tries to open Solman, but instead displays:
500 Internal Server Error Exception CXC_SMUD_ASSERT_D occurred because of error: SMUD_ASSERT_FAIL_ERR. Server time: [blank]
I can't find any OSS notes about this. I've contacted our system administrator. He says it's a template error, but he doesn't know how to fix it and says he must put in a ticket to SAP. I have no confidence that they will respond quickly.
As far as I know, no one else on my team is having this problem. I'm getting the same result in Edge, Chrome, and Firefox, so I don't think it's browser cache or anything similar, but it has to be specific to my ID somehow.
Can anyone offer any insight? Thanks.

Some similar errors are solved by Note 3272843 - SOLDOC - Copy Diagram to Process Variant, but it is only valid for solman 7.2 SP16. What SP version is your Solman on? If it is on SP16, please try the note. If not, what's the detailed information in the dump generated in ST22? It's recommended to contact SAP support for further investigation.
