Hello GURUs,
Our ECC system communicates with other SAP/non-SAP system through XML messages. We don't use PI, our system has webservice configuration done in SOAMANAGER.
We monitor the inbound and outbound messages in Tcode SRT_MONI. There are some standard fields available for searching messages - message ID, user, date etc.
Now, our requirement is to search for message using one of the message specific fields(for example, search by 'isoCountryCode' for message type 'InvoiceDetailRequest'. I know that we can do this by creating 'User-Defined Selection', but we are unable to make it work.
I searched in SDN and found some tutorials but they mostly talk about creating UDF for PI based messages. Also, if I try to create new search in SOAMAGER I am unable to find the desired fields for selection.
It'll be great if anybody can suggest how to make user defined search for non-PI XML messages work!
Thanks,
Sarif

Hi Sariful,
Could you clarify why you are unable to make 'User-Defined Selection' work?
You can create a variant for SRT_MONI to save the user-defined selection.

Hi Felipe,
in SRT_MONI , if I am in the 'Standard Selection' tab, then we have only the generic fields for search ie user name, timestamp etc. If I go to 'User-Defined Selection' tab, then it asks for a user-defined search name.
I believe this user-defined search is crated in SOAMANAGER, but as shown in the screenshot below, I am unable to find all the fields specific to a message type here.
Thanks,
Sariful
