SNOTE transport request from development to quality system for import

Hi Experts,

I have downloaded a note in development system and implemented it with transport request creation.

Now before moving the transport request into quality and production systems ..

1) Should I have to download the note in Quality and production systems from SNOTE manually and keep it ready?

2) will that transport request import fail If I dont keep the SNOTE downloaded in advance.

Note : Quality and Production system dont allow the notes download.

Please answer.

   Please find the response for your query below.

    1) No need to download SNOTE in Transport Route Systems. Once transport movement done, It will automatically move note corrections captured in TR and SNOTE status will also be reflected accordingly. You can crosscheck the same post moving TR to Quality. SNOTE status of note will be in "Completely Implemented".

    2) There won't be any issues in Transport Movement. As stated above (1), SNOTE Note information will be available as well with corrections.

         However, Please ensure to perform manual activity if any exist. Usually Manual Activities are not cross client/client dependent only. Hence, It needs to be performed post movement of transport. This INFO will be available explicitly in corresponding Note link as well (me.sap.com/notes/**).
