Sneak Preview SP9 SDM remote gui login problem

Hi all

I am facing a problem on sneak preview sp 9's SDM Remote GUI. The problem is that the GUI hangs after I login into it. I checked the error log file, it shows no error, last line says "repository loaded successfully". Can any body guess whats the problem? Is it a bug ?

Hi,

Check the following SAP Note:

Note 997810 - Troubleshooting Common SDM 6.40/04s Issues

It says the following:

If you try to use Remote GUI with one of the hostnames to connect to the local SDM server by writing the hostname in the Login dialog, but you arelogged on the machine with the second hostname, the GUI may hang. As a workaround you can use one host name for system login and Remote GUI login to the SDM server.

Try restarting server once and check.

I did that several times but it did nt help.
