Hi all,
i have a project with a cache group with 20000 rows,
in this cache group there is only one MBO with scheduled policy.
Till SMP 2.3 SP04 there was any problem, I can deploy and cache refresh the MBO successfully; the we decide to support https on iOS8 and move to SMP 2.3 sp05.
From this moment cache group with many rows (10000 to 20000) hangs SMP server (CPU on CDB goes to 100%) , MBO with few rows (100 to 5000) load all and refresh without problem, the backend is an Oracle Database.
I try even to create a new project with only one MBO of 30000 rows to test the issue and the result is the same, server blocked.
Even installing PL01 patch the problem has not been resolved, have you encountered this problem?
Best Regards

Hi Massimo Perego,
I'm from SMP 2.x developing team, according to the issue your met, can you provide more info about it?
1. What the backend type? SAP? or JDBC?
2. May I know what means "server blocked"? the server never response? or the CPU is high but it still response?
3. Is it a single node or a cluster dataTier?
4. Is this MBO a commingled MBO (parent-child) or a single MBO?
5. What's the server info? memory size?

Thanks and regards.

Hi Patton Li,
1. the backend is an Oracle Database
2. when cache refresh starts, cpu goes to 100% the SMP server and SCC are no more responsive, then SMP services needs to be restarted.
3. we try in a single node (dev environment) but also in cluster (quality environment)
4. Single MBO
5. I ask to Server Admin info about RAM and server info and I forward them as soon as I'm able to.
Thanks and Regards
Massimo
Hi Massimo,
You can send the info to my mail patton.li@sap.com.
