I've created a Smart Form for a 1.125 X 3.5 label to be sent to a Zebra ZT231. When printing to the ZT231 printer as the Windows default printer it works fine. When we try to print directly to the printer on the network using the ZLZEB2 device type we get some data output, but not in the format of the Smart Form. After researching OSS notes on the issues we are having we found that the label needed to be designed to the size specifications of the label and use one of the YZB300 device types.
We have since formatted the page size for the label to 29mm X 89mm (couldn't use inches with decimals) and are using the YZB300U device type. When we try to print directly to the printer from SAP no spool is being created and it will not print on the printer.
What I've done so far:
- Created new device type based on YZB300U
- Created new portrait and landscape page formats
- Created new format type for new page format
- Changed Smart Form page format to the newly created page format
- Changed label orientation to landscape
- Changed the printer device type to the newly created device type
Can anyone tell me what I'm missing to get this working?
