Smart Chart Settings not working anymore since SAPUI5 version 1.52 and on

Hi dear experts.

I am working with Smart charts based on the basic example provided by SAP:

For testing purposes, I have already implemented initially it in an standalone XS app using SAPUI5 version 1.38.5 and local mock server (as in the example) and it works in general well. Only the error below appears in the console:

But testing the same app with SAPUI5 versions 1.52.5 and up, the settings / personalization button of the smartchart does not work anymore and the error below appears in the console:

What is the reason about this error message?

I have already investigated about it and some blogs talk about the Fiori Launchpad dependency and also other talks about implementing a Fiori Launchpad sandbox in order to work around it, simulating the launchpad.

just debug you will find what the code is expecting and what is missing from your odata metadata.

In order to provide more context, we are using XSODATA (from a calculation view, including parameters) with "Odata4SAP" settings for an standalone XS app. Below screenshot:

What would be the way for this XS scenario to enhance the annotations in order to modify them or including other for semantics (using any Annotations Modeler or by code)?

why stick to xsodata? it has been long dead.
