SM64 Process chain

Hi, We have a requirement to schedule the process chain via sm64, I want to know in new bi 7.0 when i go to sm64 i see <b>rsprocess</b> what should i put in event id and parameter, i created the process event in sm36 but its not working

Note: Event RSPROCESS is used by the BW system to control the execution of processes in a process chain, so I would not use that event name in your batch job or in the Start process of your process chain. I would create your own event (use SM62), say ZPC_DAILY.

Then, in your process chain, have your Start process schedule "After event" ZPC_DAILY. Then schedule your process chain, and trigger event ZPC_DAILY using SM64. Your process chain should then execute.

Use SM36 to create a batch job, not schedule an event.

In sm64 better create new event say Zsoniya...

include Zsoniya in your start condition "AFTER EVENT" of your process chain.

Make sure you uncheck the "system" check box

this should work.
