Slow performance when migrating from HPUX to LINUX

What are the minimum requirements to get the best performance for the migration from HPUX SYBASE 15.7 to LINUX SYBASE 16 (Documentation, improvements and various recommendations)?

The update statistics do not behave in the same performance, for example in the attached graph you can see that in HPUX it behaves much better and the same update statistics in Linux process less MB every 2 seconds.

What could be the next steps?
What could be causing the slowness and slower processing on Linux?
