Skipping popup messages in VA03 for Sales Order Incompletion Logs

When I open any Sales Order in VA03 then popup messages related to Sales Order incompletion log are coming. For few Sales Orders, the incompletion logs are in large number and user has to click many times to close those popup messages. 

I have analysed and found a SAP NOTE 1459252 which is suggesting to create a custom program to delete the table entries from VBUV table which are having Sales Order overall status(VBAK-GBSTK) as completed (‘C’) or initial(' '). But, I want to confirm that, is deleting the records from SAP standard table i.e. VBUV table safe? 

Is there any other alternative to achieve the requirement i.e. to open a Sales Order by skipping the popup messages for Incompletion logs?

To reduce unnecessary popups, you need to identify and remove fields from the incompletion procedure that:

• are not essential for your business process
• Do not impact downstream activities (like delivery, billing, or reporting)

This way, SAP won’t flag those fields as incomplete, and users won’t be bombarded with popups.

Needless to mention, SAP does not retroactively re-evaluate open documents when you change the incompletion procedure. That means documents already flagged as incomplete will remain incomplete until manually edited or reprocessed.
