Hello SAP Community,
I'm currently working with Crystal Report Server 2013 (CRS) and facing an issue related to simulating retries for scheduled reports. Specifically, I'd like to understand if there is a way to create artificial failures to test the retry functionality in CRS.
For instance, if I set a report to run once a day with a specified number of retries (e.g., 5) and retry intervals (e.g., 1800 seconds), I would expect CRS to automatically attempt to regenerate the report upon failure. However, in scenarios where the failure is manually induced (e.g., disabling the Output File repository), I've observed that CRS doesn't initiate the scheduled report again, even after resolving the issue and enabling the server.
Could someone please provide guidance on how to effectively simulate retries for scheduled reports in Crystal Report Server 2013? I'm particularly interested in scenarios where failures are deliberately introduced to assess the system's retry mechanisms.
Thank you in advance for your insights and assistance!
