Hi sree Hari

We can see this check box in extraction tab of the DTP. For better understanding purpouse i will explain with an example.

Say we have uploaded 2 requests(640 and 641) to a target(cube) from data source using DTP later for some reason we have deleted latest request(641) the moment we delete the request in data source for the respective request we can observe QM status turned in to red and if you place courser on it we can see message 'REQUEST NOT YET UPDATED TO ANY DATA TARGET. after that when ever we run DTP it fetches the same request and re uploads it back to the target. however at this time we dont want same request to upload which is already uploaded so we just select this check box 'ONLY GET DELTA ONCE.

Hi Rajasekhar,

What happens if the update request is failed during DSO Activation?

In my case, the DTP which has the Only get delta once enabled, is loading the data to DSO. And during activation, the request failed due to some missing confirmation error. I wanted try to activate the request manually. So I deleted the request. when i try to trigger the DTP manually from the Process chain display variant, it brings 0 records. but the PSA has the recent request as 'Request has not yet updated to any data target using delta'. I am not getting the option to manually update the request from PSA manage screen. Could you give me any advice pl?

Thanks,

Ragu

hi,

'Only Get Delta Once', it means we need the delta only once.we pick the delta from the source system only once and when this option is not used we get the delta depending on target and the delta is picked from source system

see below thread for more details:

that means DTP will pick up one request only once.

Even if you delete the Data target and run the DTP once again same request will not be loaded.

Only new request will be loaded
