I have multiple calculations in my story in SAC, each with its own ID. To make the report more readable, I wanted to add descriptions to certain calculations so that viewers can more easily identify the measures. However, I'm accustomed to using the ID names of the calculations. When I add a description, only the description is displayed in the builder menu. Unfortunately, this creates issues, as I cannot find certain calculations anymore since I only remember their ID names.
Is there a way to display the IDs of calculations and measures in the builder menu while still assigning descriptions to certain measures?
To make my issue clearer, here is an example:
I have two measures, and I want a different name to be displayed in the charts. To achieve this, I changed the description of the measures. However, when I update the description, the name in the builder menu also changes, which is problematic.
I hope someone knows a solution to this issue. Otherwise, I even might end up with measures that have the same name
Kind regards
Stefan

Hi Stefan,
If you hover your mouse over the measure, then it will show both the technical ID & description:
Hope this helps

Hi Ivan,
thanks for your answer. It helps a little bit to identify the measures. The problem is you can not search for the ID anymore. So in your instance you wouldn't be able to find the measure if you search for measure1. I was kinda hoping there would be an option to switch to the ID in the builder menue. In some of my cases the description of two measures or even more would be the same and the only way to distinguish them would be by hovering over them. However i am starting to accept that this is the only solution.
Thank you again for your answer!
Have a nice day
Stefan
