Settings -> API is missing in Integration Suite

Hi. I have to configure API setting for my trial Integration Suite. However, the Settings -> API menu item is missing. How can I add it to the portal? Thank you.api-setting.png

I have just activated API Management as a new capability in a trial BTP account.

The Settings -> APIs menu item did appear initially. When I selected "APIs", the message "... provisioning ..." appeared, and then it logged out of SAP Integration Suite.

When I logged back into Integration Suite, Settings -> API menu item is now missing.

The causes a potential problem because I possibly need to know what the settings are for my SAP Learning course "Developing with SAP Integration Suite".

Does anyone know how to discover the API settings from CLI or another way?

I would like to know how to find out the Virtual Host Alias which is defined in API Settings (since these settings are no longer accessible from Integration Suite for a trial account, as mentioned before)

Yes you will be able to skip that step and proceed further.

Hello Tetlina,

This option will not come if you are using trial account. If you are provisioning in customer tenant for first time you will get an option to enable APIM including virtual host & for which usage ( production or non production ) you are enabling

Thank you, Sriprasad. I am following instructions in this exercise: Explaining Distributed Architecture and Their Challenges (sap.com). They explain that for the course we need SAP BTP sub account and free access to the SAP Gateway Demo System. Does it mean that I can skip the step with API setting and I will still be able to complete the exercises?

The answer maybe is: 

IMPORTANT Ensure that you don’t have an instance of starter plan created in the same subaccount, where you plan to create an Integration Suite subscription. Also, note that API Management capabilities from Integration Suite and API Management subscriptions using the standalone tile cannot coexist in the same subaccount.
