Set folder permissions using SFTP Receiver adapter in SAP PI7.31

Hi All,

I am trying to set the rwx-rwx-rwx permissions by setting the "Set Permissions" option value as "777" in the processing mode of the SFTP receiver adapter.

However when the files are getting created on the server they are getting created with permission as rw- rw- rw-

The user that is being used in the adapter has the required authorisation as rwx-rwx-rwx, so this doesnt seem to be a issue.

Request you to suggest a solution.

Unless your file is a program or a script, there is little use to add execute authorization.

If you really want to add it, use the Run Operating System Command After Processing and type the chmod command or script there.
