Service Consumption Model not available on S4/HANA on premise

Hi all

We would like to use Service Consumption Model on our S4/HANA on premise to consume OData V4 from another SAP system that provides WebAPI OData V4 as interface.

Unfortunately, we have got the following error message during the creation:

What are we doing wrong?

This describes a workaround by creating a service consumption model for OData in SAP BTP ABAP Environment.

The generated class can be reused in SAP S/4HANA on premise in order to regiser an OData Client proxy.

Hello Anujit,

Service Consumption Model is not yet released for On Premise systems, and is available only in BTP environements for now. Hence, the error message.
