Hi,

I logged into CMC with administrator account. Then opened promotion management --->

  • Clicked on Manage Systems.
  • Seleted ADD
  • provided  Host Name, CMS Port number, Display Name and Description of the System

But got the below error:

'servername:6400 does not exist in the network'

I checked notes 1661046 and 1897617 , but they are nt helping.

Could there be any other problem? pls. let me know Just to mention, this issue is occuring afte we move system to diff. machine.

Regards,

Tushar.

Hello Tushar,

You said that this issue is occuring afte moving system to different machine. Similar hostnames with minor changes can cause these kind of issues.

Make sure you have removed the old hostname.

Kind Regards,

Monia.
