Send EMail with attachements

Hy,

with XI I want to receive File and send it als attachment in email. This works but the attachment in Email ist not my original File (filename.zip file) but the payloadid.xml.

I receive an xml attchment. Could somebody help me ?

hi Mattia,

if you have some troubles with attachment name

you can always change it in the adapter module

/people/michal.krawczyk2/blog/2006/02/23/xi-dynamic-name-in-the-mail-attachment--pseudo-variable-substitution

BTW

but are you putting the file (zip)

as an attachment in the file adapter?

Thank's Michal,

but my Problem is aready to have the .ZIP File als attachement in Email. The filename could be static. This is not important. It's not possible just with the configuration of a standard Adapter Module?

you can easily check it:

go to messagingn system:

http://server:port/MessagingSystem/monitor/monitor.jsp

and choose your messagge - dispaly detailed

and go to message bytes

then you will see your zip attachment

and you can check it's name

if the name of the attachment in there is ok

then you don't have to use the adapter

module if not then use the adapter module to change it
