Good afternoon

Please your help.

I want to send an email in SAP S4 HANA Cloud Public Edition with the button that is the right corner of my Service Quotation.

But I want to send a screenshot of the app instead of the link of the page.

Is there a way to send an automatic screenshot of the app by email?

Thanks in advanced!

Hello,

To send an automatic screenshot of the app by email in SAP S/4HANA Cloud, public edition, you may need to utilize custom solution approaches as there is no direct feature that accomplishes this within standard SAP functionalities.

One potential approach is to use SAP Intelligent Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Create Business Partner in SAP S/4HANA Cloud using… in conjunction with SAP Workflow Service to orchestrate a process where a bot can take a screenshot of the current app and attach it to an email. These technologies allow for the automation of specific tasks, such as interacting with an app screen, capturing the current view, and sending emails, which can be configured to suit your needs.

For SAP Intelligent RPA, you would configure a project where the bot is instructed to take screenshots at desired intervals or on specific triggers. Then, you can program it to send these screenshots via email automatically using SAP Workflow, which orchestrates the process of approval, email sending, and task tracking.

In scenarios where you’re focused on collaborative features, SAP Collaboration Manager allows users to take screenshots and annotate them directly within SAP S/4HANA Cloud, public edition and send them via email through integrated channels or utilizing Microsoft Teams for sharing.

To implement this:

  1. Setup SAP Intelligent RPA to capture screenshots and configure bots for sending emails.
  2. Configure SAP Workflow Service to manage the workflow of capturing and emailing screenshots.
  3. Utilize SAP Collaboration Manager How to Display Situations in Your Custom Apps with… for quick integration with email and collaborative platforms.

This approach leverages existing SAP solutions and requires some setup and possibly collaboration with SAP partners or consultants to tailor the solution to your specific processes.
