Schedule AFO report with current fiscal period auto filled

Is there a way to have the Variable VPCC_FISCPERCURR automatically return the current fiscal period when scheduling a report in Analysis for Office

I currently have a report scheduled to be emailed to a list of people each morning but I can only schedule it for 1 month since I must change the value of the variable at the end of each month

In other reports it is possible to use ## - ## to return the prior week

Is there a user guide for AFO that describes the available variables for automation perhaps

Any help would be most appreciated
