SCC1N Usage

SCC1N - Client Copy through Transport

This tool should be launched in Target System/Client ONLY. It cannot be used from source/any other system.

1. Provide list of Transports to be import in proper sequence. Tool will blindly follow sequence.

2. Select Transport Type. If there are multiple types, select all types using multiple selection button.

3. If Source and Target systems are same (within same system, but different client), leave target system field. Else, select it from selection options.

4. Select Source System is it is different (ex: moving from Dev to Prod). If not, leave it blank.

5. Select 'Local Import/Export Update Time' under 'Export/Import time' option. Select 45 days before date & time (must). Do NOT select Source System date/time.

6. Select Source Client of Transport Requests (import same source client TRs only. Bundle them using excel if needed).

7. Select all Target Clients using multiple selection option.

8. Leave ALL OTHER OPTIONS BLANK without any values.

9. ENSURE ALL VALUES & DETAILS ARE PROPERLY CHECKED before execution. One wrong input / selection can ruin whole system. You can try "TEST MODE" first, in case required.

10. Import log can be found in SCC3 like below:
Finished 100 200 1 N/A 00:01:17 Multiple(6) 10.09.2024 13:30:44 XRAMA

Just some comments for the audience reading this topic.  This great explanation by Gopagani  is available for SAP S/4HANA on-premise and SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition.

On SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition this transaction is not available as this is a standard solution and copy of transports into different clients is not possible as you can't create new clients outside of what is delivered standard in a 3 system landscape (Dev (client 100, 80) - Test (100) and Production (100)). In SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition in a 3 system landscape, you can off course move transports into the customer system landscape  - Development, Testing and Production. We will also offering a new concept called Parallel Project Line, which will allow our customers to create another line to create additional clients in Development (120) and Testing (120) which they can be used to run testing, data migration example, etc. so you don't do these changes in the main line.  If interested in this concept I suggest to check the following information: https://help.sap.com/docs/SAP_S4HANA_CLOUD/bee2fd8498b5420696cdca00a83b2ba6/ba3c2949cab04efbb7136bca...

Hope this helps
